*Insert metal tube into adjustable open gripper. Metal tube exposing 1/8 inches, height (3MM)
*Tighten clamp screw approximately 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn beyond free travel position to secure tubing.
*Verify whether there is oil on the surface of the flaring cone, then put the Y-shaped rack into the gripper, align with the center of the pipe, tighten the Y-shaped rack clockwise to the working position, tighten the Y-shaped rack clockwise, and do the flaring work.
* For 5/8", 3/4", 7/8" & 1-1/8" O.D.
